Does Copilot work with Exact Online?
Yes. Copilot works with Exact Online through Exact AI Connect. The connector is built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard you use to connect an AI agent to external data sources. You add the connector in Copilot Studio, authorise once at Exact Online and after that your agent uses your figures in plain language.
Connecting Exact Online with Copilot, step by step

Requires a Copilot Studio license. With a free 30-day trial you can test it first. Make sure generative orchestration is enabled.
1Open your agent in Copilot Studio and go to Tools.
2Click Add a tool and then New tool.
3Choose Model Context Protocol.
4Give the connector a name (for example Exact AI Connect), a short description, and paste the connector link in the Server URL field.
6Click Create and then Add to agent. You log in once at Exact Online and click Authorize.

What can you ask Copilot about your accounting?
As soon as your agent uses the connector, you work with your administration in plain language. Copilot reads your figures and can, with your approval, prepare actions. A few examples:

Exact AI Connect has two subscriptions. Essentials costs € 29 per user per month and is intended for the daily retrieval and updating of your administration. Analytics costs € 79 per user per month and adds an analysis layer for deeper analyses across larger datasets. Both include one administration; additional administrations receive tiered discounts (from € 15 per month). Everything can be cancelled monthly and you can try the connector free for 30 days first.
