What gets synchronised?

Orders

Every order goes to Exact Online including the order lines. As a sales entry, sales invoice or sales order, depending on your Exact package.

Customers

The customer is created as a relation in Exact Online, with billing and delivery address. If the relation already exists, it is reused.

Products

New products automatically appear as items in Exact Online, with item code and price. Existing items are matched by item code.

Stock

Exact Online is the source. The current stock is updated in WooCommerce every 5 minutes, so you never sell what you do not have.

Through our connector, WooCommerce orders are sent to Exact Online every 5 minutes as a sales order, invoice or booking, depending on your Exact Online subscription. You don't install anything in WordPress itself, the connector runs entirely through our cloud and reads your orders via the WooCommerce REST API. Read more about the workings of this connector.

Yes. Product variations (such as size or colour) with a unique SKU are created as a separate item in Exact Online.

The connector reads data via the standard WooCommerce REST API. As long as your plugin data is available through that standard orders endpoint, it is included. For specific plugins we can always take a look to see if it fits.

Certainly. When activating the connector you can run an initial synchronisation that creates your existing items in Exact Online. So you don't start from scratch.

With our add-on module for automatic invoicing sales orders in Exact Online are automatically converted into invoices. That saves you another manual step in your administration.

Yes, stock levels from Exact Online can be automatically sent back to WooCommerce. This prevents overselling and means you don't have to update anything manually.

Returns and refunds are recognised and can be created as credit notes in Exact Online. That way your bookkeeping always stays in line with what happens in your webshop.

You create an API key in WooCommerce and go through seven steps in our installation screen: subscription, Exact Online, WooCommerce, settings, modules, invoicing details and confirm. This takes about ten minutes. Our step-by-step guide describes every step.

No. You don't install anything in WordPress. The connector runs in our cloud and reads your webshop via the WooCommerce REST API. You create an API key once with read and write rights, the rest speaks for itself.

WooCommerce 3.0 or higher, and permalinks must be enabled in WordPress. If permalinks are set to 'Default', the REST API is not reachable and the connector cannot make a connection.

That determines the form in which your order lands in Exact Online, and it depends on your Exact package. A sales booking is the simplest form: your turnover and VAT are correct. A sales invoice is a full invoice. A sales order belongs to the complete trade process including stock. When choosing your subscription you'll see which variant suits your licence.

The connector synchronises every five minutes. A new order therefore appears in Exact Online almost immediately, and your stock in WooCommerce stays continuously up to date. You don't have to export anything manually.

Yes. The connector works with Exact Online in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. During installation you choose the country of your Exact Online environment.
