What is synchronised?

Orders

Every order goes to Exact Online including order lines, with discounts, shipping costs, payment method and fulfilment status.

Customers

Customer data from your webshop and from Shopify POS is added as a relation in Exact Online, including invoice and delivery address.

Products

Products and variants from Shopify are added automatically as items in Exact Online, with the SKU as item code and the price from your shop.

Stock

Exact Online is leading. The connector writes the stock back to the Shopify location you choose, and enables stock tracking itself when needed.

Once you have connected your Shopify store and Exact Online environment, orders, customers and items are synchronised automatically. You do not have to program or configure anything yourself. The connector synchronises orders, customer data, items and stock levels. Orders from Shopify are automatically created in Exact Online as a sales order, invoice or entry, depending on your Exact Online subscription.

Absolutely. We are ISO 27001 certified and all data is processed with encryption. Your customer data never ends up where it does not belong, and we fully comply with the GDPR.

Certainly, the connector can be cancelled monthly with a monthly subscription. You can also try it free for 30 days before you decide.

Yes, you can. Each Shopify store needs its own connector, but they all come together in the same Exact Online administration. Handy if you run multiple brands or webshops.

Yes. Sales from Shopify POS reach Exact Online the same way as your online orders, and Shopify Plus works on the same API. You do not need to set up anything extra for that.

During setup you choose one Shopify location where the stock from Exact Online is sent. If you work with multiple locations or warehouses, we help you think through the right configuration.

Yes, and that is exactly the difference with a purely financial connector. Exact Online is leading for your stock position and changes go back to Shopify automatically. If stock tracking is still turned off on a product, the connector turns it on itself.

Yes. Variants such as size or color are created as separate items in Exact Online, with the SKU as the item code. That way you track stock per variant.

That determines the form in which your order lands in Exact Online, and it depends on your Exact package. A sales entry is the simplest form: your revenue and VAT are correct. A sales invoice is a full invoice. A sales order belongs to the complete trading process including stock.

Yes. Refunds from Shopify are included, along with dedicated logic for difference lines and returned shipping costs.
