Security sits on several layers: you approve every change, you decide who is allowed to do what, you can review everything in the logs, and the connection with your accounting package is secure. Below we go through them one by one.
You approve every change
The assistant can request figures and produce analyses without changing anything. As soon as it needs to write something, such as an entry, invoice or contact, that first appears as a draft. Only after you have approved it does it get recorded in your records. So nothing ever changes without your consent.
Decide for yourself how much freedom your assistant gets
The approval within the connector is one layer. On top of that, you decide in your AI assistant itself how strict it is. In assistants such as Claude you can set per type of action whether the assistant may carry something out directly or asks for confirmation first. That way you choose whether you are asked for consent at every step or only for the actions that really matter.
Permissions and limits per user
In your control panel you decide per user what is allowed. You can limit write actions to certain people, block delete actions and set a daily limit on what may be written. That way you keep control over who can do what through the connector.
Always insight into what happens
In the activity logs you see exactly which actions were carried out and when. That way you can always look back at what was requested, created or changed, and by whom.
Connecting through a secure connection
You authorise the connector through a secure connection using your own login details for your accounting package. You decide that the connector gets access, and you can revoke that access again at any time. That stops access to your records right away.
Where your data is stored and what is kept
Your data stays within the European Union: everything we process and store is on servers in the EU. The connector works through the official API of your accounting package, with your own authorisation, and all connections are encrypted. That keeps your financial data under your own control.
For most questions your figures are fetched live from your accounting package the moment you need them, and are not stored separately afterwards. You then work directly with your own, up to date records.
For the heavier analyses in the Analytics plan, part of your data is synchronised securely, so that large amounts can be calculated over quickly. That data too stays within the EU and is stored encrypted. So what exactly is kept depends on your plan. And you always decide for yourself who has access, and you can revoke that access at any time.
