Does Gemini work with Twinfield?
Yes, just not through the standard Gemini app. Gemini works with Twinfield through Twinfield AI Connect, a connector based on MCP (Model Context Protocol) that lets AI tools securely pull data from other software. The consumer app currently only supports ready-made partner connectors. You add your own connector through the command line or through Gemini Enterprise, where an administrator sets it up for the organisation.

1Install Google's Gemini CLI on your computer. Follow Google's installation instructions; the tooling is shifting to Antigravity CLI.

3Start the CLI. You will be asked in your browser to log in to Twinfield. Log in and click Authorise.
4Type /mcp to check whether the connector is active and ask your question.

What can you ask Gemini about your bookkeeping?
Once the connector is in place, you query your Twinfield administration in natural language. Gemini reads your figures and can, with your approval, also prepare actions. For example:
"Show my liquidity based on the outstanding items."
"Give an overview of my revenue per customer this year."
"Which purchase invoices do I need to pay this week?"
"Prepare a journal entry for these costs."

Is the connector with Gemini secure?
