Does Claude work with Exact Online?
Yes. Claude works with Exact Online through Exact AI Connect. That connector uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard from Anthropic that lets AI assistants retrieve data from software securely. You install the connector as an app in Claude, log in to Exact Online once and then simply ask your questions in the chat.
The nice thing about Claude is that the connector works on all subscriptions, including the free account. This often makes Claude the fastest way to try out the connector without any barrier.

Once the connector is in place, you talk to your administration in plain language. Claude reads along in your figures and can, with your approval, also prepare things for you. A few examples:

Exact AI Connect has two subscriptions. Essentials costs € 29 per user per month and is intended for daily retrieving and updating of your administration. Analytics costs € 79 per user per month and adds an analysis layer for deeper analyses over larger datasets. Both include one administration; extra administrations receive a volume discount (from € 15 per month). Everything can be cancelled monthly and you can try the connector free for 30 days first.

Is the connector with Claude secure?
Your accounting stays in Exact Online. You log in through the secure authorization of Exact Online itself, so you never share your password with the AI tool, and you can revoke access at any time from your Exact Online account.
