The VAT number check module automatically verifies the validity of VAT numbers. This makes it easy to meet the ICP obligations.

When a company places an order, the module immediately checks the VAT number through the EU-VIES service. If the number is valid, the module automatically adds the correct ICP code.

This way, VAT processing for intra-community deliveries is always handled correctly, without any manual work. The module prevents errors, saves time and fits neatly with your existing iWeb connector to AFAS or Exact Online.

The VAT number check module is available as an addition to your existing subscription. You pay a fixed amount per month for it and are not limited in the number of validations.

How do you activate the module?

You activate the VAT number check module all by yourself and start using it within a few minutes.

Choose settings in your control panel and click on the 'modules' tab
Select the VAT number check and fill in your details.
Save, and from this moment on the VAT number validation starts for new orders.

Compatibility

The VAT number check module works independently of your webshop. This means you activate the module easily for the connector between AFAS, Twinfield, Multivers or Exact Online and your webshop.

The webshop needs to have a VAT number field (with WooCommerce and Shopify this is often not the case by default).
