More than 2,300 banks. That is the number of banks you can connect to your accounting software through our bank connector. From the Rabobank around the corner to a business account at a Belgian bank. We connect them all.
You know the three big names: ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank. Together they serve over 80% of the Dutch business market. Our bank connector supports all three, including their business variants and sub-accounts.
But it does not stop there. We also support SNS, ASN Bank, Triodos, Knab and RegioBank. Do you have a savings account at one bank and a business account at another? You connect both in the same environment.
The banking world is changing. Bunq now has more than 20 million users in Europe. Revolut is growing fast in the business market. More and more entrepreneurs are choosing a neobank as their primary or secondary bank account.
Our connector fully supports these neobanks. There is no difference in functionality compared to a traditional bank, with the same automatic import and matching rules.
Do you do business across the border? Then you probably have bank accounts in several countries. We connect Belgian banks such as KBC, Belfius and BNP Paribas Fortis. Our connector also works for German banks such as Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank and the Sparkassen, and Spanish banks such as Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank and Bankinter. We also support banks outside the EU, including Barclays, HSBC and Lloyds in the UK.
The full list has now grown to more than 2,300 banks worldwide. Made possible by the global rollout of open banking, driven by the European PSD2 regulations.
PSD2 requires European banks to make secure API connections available to authorised parties. We are such an authorised party. That means we do not depend on separate agreements with individual banks. Every bank that is PSD2 compliant, which includes all European banks, we can connect.
The result is a connector that works with almost every bank in the EU and with many banks beyond it. Without you having to set anything up.
Our experience is that companies rarely have just one bank account. A typical SME has two to four, and an international company sometimes six or more depending on the number of countries where they operate.
Without an automatic connector that means logging in, exporting and importing six times. Every day again. With our bank connector you connect all those accounts at once. All transactions flow into your accounting automatically, regardless of the bank and the country of establishment.
The installation hardly differs per bank. The basic process is the same for every connector:
- Create an account: Set up an account with iWebDevelopment.
- Authorize your bank: Log in at your bank and give permission via PSD2.
- Connect your accounting software: Connect Exact Online, Twinfield or AFAS.
- First synchronization: Transactions are retrieved right away.
The authorization runs through each bank's own system, which you are already used to working with. Authorizing the connector within your banking environment takes about five minutes per bank on average.
Do you have five bank accounts at different banks? Then you will be fully operational within half an hour.
A common concern: does the connector work just as well with less common banks? Yes. Whether you connect Knab, Bunq or a local German Sparkasse, the functionality is identical. Automatic import, daily synchronization and the same matching rules in your accounting software.
We actively test every bank connector. When a bank makes changes to their API, we adjust our connector. That happens in the background. You will not notice a thing.
With more than 2,300 supported banks the chance is small. But should your bank be missing, please contact us. We can add new banks on request, provided the bank is PSD2 compliant.
For all banks a rate of 7.50 euros per month applies. Cancellable monthly, no hidden costs.
