You do not need a customer record for every customer in your accounting.
With the Collective Debtor module, all consumer sales from the webshop are booked under one collective debtor in the accounting system. Instead of creating a separate customer record for each new webshop customer, all orders remain under one fixed customer name (for example, "Webshop Customer"). This keeps the debtor list in your administration compact and manageable, which saves a lot especially when dealing with a high volume of private orders.
- This module is ideal for B2C-webshops with many one-time buyers. You prevent your accounting from being overwhelmed by hundreds or thousands of individual customer cards that have placed only one order.
- All revenue from online orders is bundled into one customer account, which simplifies the processing of invoices and payments. For example, you have only one open item for all web orders (of course with collective invoices/lines), instead of numerous small items per customer.
- It limits duplicate or unnecessary data in the accounting and can be desirable for privacy reasons: detailed customer information remains primarily in the webshop, while the financial administration uses only a generic debtor.
- Without the use of a collective debtor, the customer base in the accounting grows unnecessarily quickly with each new online customer, which soon becomes cumbersome and requires more maintenance (e.g., cleaning up inactive debtors).
